VP/MS
VP/MS® is CSC’s award-winning product modelling solution for development and maintenance of financial services products, rating algorithms and business rules. KDX
Motor insurers continue to seek ways to streamline the post-accident inspection process and to control repair costs, whilst maintaining quality and customer service standards. CSC’s KDX is designed to improve claims handling and vehicle inspection processes, and to reduce damage repair costs, thereby increasing customer satisfaction, improving supplier management and maximising the productivity of claims assessors and handlers.

Fraud Evaluator
CSC’s Fraud Evaluator helps insurers detect and prevent suspicious and potentially fraudulent activity. It can be rapidly deployed and integrated into existing systems and databases, ensuring a rapid and ongoing return on investment. The key to a successful fraud identification programme is the early detection of suspicious circumstances. Fraud Evaluator is a fraud detection tool that combines the right mix of complementary technologies for detecting and managing suspicious policies from application stage and claims from the first notice of loss and continuing throughout the life of the claim.

@First scores claims at first notice of loss and re-scores them as new data elements are captured. If the aggregate score reaches a user-defined threshold, the claim is automatically referred to the claim handler or investigator as required. Models and rules are based on the insurer’s historical fraud experience and can be refreshed periodically to recognise new patterns.
